David B. Jang is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans installation, performance, sculpture, painting, and generative drawing. He often incorporates biometric sensors and data-driven systems to translate physiological responses into visual expressions, creating works embody human-machine co-creation. forming a dialogue where emotion and perception guide machine expression. Jang’s practice explores cycles of creation and transformation that shape both organic life and technological systems, fostering emotional dialogue between humans and machines. Through this, he invites reflection on what it means to be human in an era where the boundaries between nature, self, and system are increasingly blurred.

David B. Jang received an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts and a BFA from the College of Visual Arts. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally at prestigious venues including The Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, the Gwangju Design Biennale in South Korea, Laguna Art Museum, Museum of Art and History, Torrance Art Museum, Los Angeles International Airport, Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art, Ronald H. Silverman Fine Arts Gallery, Kellogg University Art Gallery at CalPoly, Ahha Tulsa Museum, Gilcrease Museum in Oklahoma, Korean Cultural Center in Los Angeles, Nagasaki Museum of Fine Art in Japan, Paju Kyoha Art Center in Korea, Shone-show Gallery in China, Heritage Art Center in the Philippines, and Locust Projects in Miami.

Jang’s work is held in various public and private collections including Gilcrease Museum in Oklahoma, Angeli Art Museum in South Korea, Brentwood Country Club in Los Angeles, California State Polytechnic University (Cal Poly) in Pomona, Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), Fountainhead Residency in Miami, Locust Projects in Miami, Brown/Davis Inc. in Miami Beach, Fendi Casa in Los Angeles, Laguna Art Museum, and Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Los Angeles.

His work has been featured in numerous publications such as Miami New Times, Wall Street International, Huffington Post Arts, Art Ltd., Korean American Magazine, YTN news, ARTPULSE Magazine, Artillery Magazine, KCET Artbound, Coagula Art Journal, California Contemporary Art Magazine, Art Week LA, Korea Times, and Fabrik Media.
